OHDAKA – Day Camp Program

2026 OHDAKA – Registration Now Open –

Ohdaka Day Camp is a week-long, outdoor day camp program of Shooting Star Adventures, held at Oxbow Regional Park in Gresham.

Camp Details

Date – June 22-26, 2026 9:00am-3:30pm
Campers : Pre K (age 4+), entering Kindergarten through 8th (in the fall of 2026)
Junior Counselors (Grades 8,9,10) – learn more and apply here first
Location – Oxbow Regional Park – 3010 SE Oxbow Parkway, Gresham
Cost – $350 (includes required bus transportation fee)
Financial Aid – must register with a deposit by May 15th AND fill out the financial aid application to be eligible. See our Financial Aid page for more details.

Transportation

For the 2026 season, campers will travel together using camp bus transportation. This helps each day begin and end in a predictable, well-supported way for campers and staff.

Pick-up and drop-off at the MHCC athletic (Yoshida Event Center) parking lot off of NE 17th St.
Drop-Off: 8:00–8:15 AM
Pick-Up: 3:45–4:00 PM
The weekly bus fee is included in the camp registration fee

In some situations, parent/guardian transport to Oxbow Park can be accommodated with pre-approval.

Camper Readiness, Behavior & Community Expectations

Ohdaka Day Camp is a group-based, outdoor program. Campers must be able to participate safely in a structured camp day, follow directions, and engage respectfully with peers and staff.

Families are expected to review the SSA Camper Code of Conduct and Ohdaka Camper Promise with their camper prior to camp.

Payment Options

Families may choose from the following options:

Pay in Full – reserves your camper’s spot immediately
2, 3- and 4 Month Payment Plans available
Limited financial aid is available to help support families when needed. A separate application is required, with details provided during registration.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you cancel your reservation, refunds are defined below:

Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to finance@shootingstaradventures.org.
Refund will be issued in the same manner payment was made. If the payment was made by credit card, then the refund will be credited back to the card.
100% Refundable registration will be reimbursed (minus the deposit) if written notice is received prior to May 10th.
50% of refundable registration will be refunded between May 10th and June 10th.
Cancellations received on or after June 11th will forfeit full registration costs.
Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your refund.
Participants who are asked to leave or choose to leave during a camp session will not receive a refund.
If you have loaded money onto your camper’s store account, it will be return to you. Any camp store credit earned via our referral or early bird programs will be forfeited.
