Shooting Star Adventures offers year-round programs and events designed to engage local youth in meaningful outdoor experiences. Our mission is simple: create spaces where young people can grow in confidence, build community, and experience real adventure in the Pacific Northwest.
Through hands-on activities like outdoor cooking, survival skills, archery, rock climbing, canoeing, and fishing, youth are encouraged to try new things, take healthy risks, and discover what they’re capable of. We are committed to providing an enriching environment where kids can safely explore, lead, and belong.

Your Donation – Your Choice
We strive to make giving simple and transparent for the families, businesses, and community members who support our mission. We have many different programs, so you can support one specifically or you can donate to our general fund.
General Fund
Our general fund helps us purchase items that are not program specific. This can be for any number of different equipment items we need or need to replace. Sound equipment, pop up tents, storage containers, office equipment, etc. This fund also helps us maintain existing equipment and cover storage costs.

Programming Fund
Camp Two Roads resident camp is a place where young women learn confidence in the outdoors and in themselves; where they discover hidden interests and talents; where they gain leadership skills and a camp family.
OHDAKA camp is our week-long co-ed day camp for youth. We share with them our love for nature with activities, crafts, songs, games, hikes, cooking and so much more.
Weekend Escape is our adult and daughter camp weekend. This gives our female youth the opportunity to share their camp experience with a parent or guardian. Sometimes the adults just want to enjoy camp again too!

This fund also allows us to bring in experienced professionals that enrich our camp programming through educational opportunities with wild animal experts and athletic activities such as basketball with the Portland Trailblazers, high ropes course and zipline facilitators and many other fun professionals. It also allows us to replace all of the supplies we use and bring in new and exciting program material.
Campership Fund
Our camp scholarship fund helps offset program fees for children whose families cannot otherwise afford camp. All kids deserve a chance to explore the outdoors. You can make it possible for a child to come to camp. Please support our camp scholarship fund, so that everyone who wants to come to camp may do so.

Give a Girl Her Space
Camp Two Roads is more than a summer camp — it is a protected space where girls lead, take risks, build confidence, and discover who they are without comparison or pressure. As girl-only spaces become increasingly rare, your support helps preserve an environment intentionally designed for courage, belonging, and leadership growth. Gifts to this fund provide camperships, confidence-building programming, and access to transformative outdoor experiences for girls who might not otherwise attend. When you give, you are not just funding a week of camp — you are protecting a place where girls learn to own their opportunity.

Counselor Scholarship
Counselors are the hardest working individuals at camp, hands down. Every year we recruit amazing young women to oversee our campers. They teach programs, support recreation activities and plan outstanding campfires. They act as big sisters and role models and are an integral part to making every camper feel safe, valued and a part of the Shooting Star Adventure family. We have created a college scholarship fund to award to our hardworking camp counselors.

Cabin Sponsor
We have several cabins out at Camp Two Roads. Each cabin is managed by one or two or sometimes three of our cabin counselors and these counselors are not charged for their place at camp. We cover the cost for food and housing for their week at camp. They are there supporting and teaching these wonderful young campers all week and we appreciate all of their hard work!
