The Wilderness Is Calling
Hey moms and dads! Mark your calendars for a laid-back weekend at Camp Two Roads this spring. And yes, dads, you’re invited to join in the C2R fun too. Whether you choose to make it a Mom and Me, Dad and Daughter or Parents and Princess kind of weekend – it’s a perfect match. Think cozy cabins, hands-on activities with our team, and those memorable Camp Two Roads campfire evenings. This is your relaxed chance to get the feel of C2R and see if our summer scene fits your family. Whether you’re just hearing about C2R or you’re a returning fan, let’s make this weekend about genuine moments and good vibes. Drop by, and let’s see if C2R’s summer spirit clicks with yours!
Friday – Check in after dinner Friday night, get settled and mingle with staff and other families in the dining hall
Saturday – A full day of camp programming with a little bit of everything that camp has to offer.
*Morning activities are shared experiences with your girl. In the afternoon we divide up to allow our camper-aged participants an opportunity to preview what life at resident camp is like. Adult participants can use this time to sign up for adult only activities – go for a hike, craft, read a book or even just take a nap. (Campers 4 and under generally stay with their adults instead of participating in girl-only programming.)
Sunday – Breakfast and time to finish a last minute craft or get a few nature photos before returning home.
Many of the activities require adult and girl campers to stay together, so really any age girl camper can attend with an adult participant. During Saturday afternoon, we split up to provide girl-only activities (for ages 5-17*) that give a sample of resident camp life. During this time adult participants may choose activities geared toward adults, spend time with their under 5 participants or pick from a list of freetime activities.
*Preschool level programming may be provided during afternoon activities depending on registration numbers.
Participants aged 15-17 can choose between joining the girls, the adults, or diving into a leadership workshop, offering a glimpse into the world of camp counseling.
Both cabin areas have three heated cabin buildings, each with six private sleeping rooms and a central hangout area. Rooms are set up with comfy bunk beds and foam mattresses, cozy enough for 4-7 people. While we aim to assign families to separate rooms, there’s a chance you might share with another wonderful family.
Options are selected at time of registration
We rent out Camp Yamhill’s facilities to run this program.
Clothes appropriate for being away from home and outdoors for 2 days. You will also need to provide sleeping bag and pillow or twin sized bed linens. A complete packing list will be provided to you upon registration. As a reminder to our adult participants, this is a drug, alcohol and tobacco free event.
We cannot wait to share an amazing weekend with your camper and YOU. Share our flyer and introduce our program to a friend and her daughter and bring them along for the fun. Get to know C2R and find out if summer camp is a good fit for you and your camper.
