We’re honored to share that Shooting Star Adventures has been selected as a 2026 race beneficiary of the Gresham Lilac Run!
The Lilac Run is a long-standing Gresham tradition that brings together runners, walkers, families, and local organizations to celebrate community and support meaningful causes. Thanks to the continued support of presenting sponsor Unitus Community Credit Union, four local beneficiaries have been selected for 2026 — and we are incredibly grateful to be one of them.
💛 Why This Matters
Funds raised through the Lilac Run directly support our mission to provide outdoor, confidence-building, leadership-focused experiences for youth in East Multnomah County and the greater Portland area.
Race beneficiary support helps us:
- Provide need-based camperships
- Purchase program supplies and equipment
- Expand access to outdoor experiences
- Invest in staff training and youth leadership development
Every registration, sponsorship, and cheer from the sidelines helps remove barriers so more youth can access transformative camp experiences.

This free kids run is a fun, welcoming way for younger participants to be part of race day excitement. We especially love seeing campers at the starting line!
