Mission
Our mission is to empower the community through outdoor recreational opportunities that cultivate teamwork, instill self-confidence and promote a strong connection to nature.
Vision
We envision a resilient generation characterized by bold explorers, confident leaders and devoted naturalists that build deep connections within their communities and to the larger natural world.
How We Accomplish This:
provide instruction in outdoor skills such as:
- campfire cooking
- orienteering
- fire building
- knots and lashing
- wilderness first aid
- shelter building
- nature craft
- archery
- and an understanding of the natural world;
provide recreational opportunities related to the above activities to targeted groups in order to build intentional communities
sponsor special events related to any of the above activities that engage the general public in the education of such activities
expand and refine our educational and environmental programs from time to time as necessary to meet the changing needs of the communities served
